For a Costa Blanca home with medium risk (estate with neighbours, not isolated), we recommend a mid-to-high range anti-bump cylinder. These have security pins that block the bumping technique — a sharp tap with a special key that opens any standard cylinder in under 60 seconds. They take registered security keys, which can’t be copied without authorisation at any hardware shop. And they carry EN1303 European certification, which guarantees manipulation resistance for years. Cost is reasonable and real security improvement is enormous.
