How We Work
For all passage areas and heights below 90cm: tempered or laminated safety glass. Spanish CTE standards apply. If the original was single pane, it must be replaced with safety glass. We start with a measurement visit. We measure the existing opening with millimeter precision, identify the type of glass to be replaced (tempered, laminated, Climalit), and verify the fixing system to the frame (silicone, PVC profile, neoprene gasket) so that the replacement is identical to the original. We provide a fixed quote during the same visit. The correct protocol when glass breaks involves three steps. First, immediately remove all loose fragments to prevent accidents, which is especially important with children or pets in the house. Second, temporarily cover the opening with a thick plastic sheet or board if the area is accessible from the outside and there is a risk of intrusion. And third, call the glazier as soon as possible for measurement and replacement. The urgency depends on whether the area is watertight or not. A window overlooking an interior patio can wait 2-3 days without problem. A balcony door or exterior window with a risk of rainwater ingress or theft requires urgent replacement.
