How we work
We start with a measurement visit. We precisely measure the existing opening, identify the type of glass to be replaced (tempered, laminated, Climalit), and verify the fixing system to the frame (silicone, PVC profile, neoprene gasket) to ensure the replacement is identical to the original. We provide a fixed quote during the same visit. In all passage areas and heights below 90cm: tempered glass or safety laminated glass. Spanish CTE. If the original was single, a safety glass must be installed. Tempered glass is the standard for balcony doors, large windows, and areas at risk of impact. Its distinctive feature is that when it breaks, it shatters into thousands of blunt fragments that do not cause severe cuts, instead of large, sharp fragments like conventional glass. Spanish regulations (CTE) require tempered or safety laminated glass in all passage areas and at heights below 90 cm. If your broken glass was conventional single glass, we are obligated to replace it with tempered glass to comply with regulations.
