How We Work
The process is laborious. We apply thick levelling filler over the stucco and let it partially dry. We sand with an orbital sander until the surface is completely smooth. We apply a sealing primer and two coats of plastic paint. The dust generated during sanding is considerable. We cover the entire room with plastic sheeting before starting and vacuum carefully when finished. A standard 15 m² room smoothed and painted takes 2-3 days of work. The choice between different types of wood or wood-effect flooring depends on three main factors: budget, intended use, and desired aesthetics. AC4 laminate floating floor, which is what we sell most today, combines excellent value for money with resistance to intensive use. It consists of a top melamine layer with a realistic wood effect (high durability to abrasion), a high-density fibreboard core, and a balancing base layer. The top layer has an AC4 classification (suitable for intensive domestic use or moderate commercial use) and resists 25,000 abrasive cycles without visible wear. For standard domestic use, it lasts 15-25 years with a good appearance. Its drawback is that although visually very realistic, it is not natural wood and cannot be re-sanded and varnished if it gets damaged at any point.
