How we work
Call us, write to us on WhatsApp, or request your quote online — we'll respond in under 10 minutes during business hours. The most critical step is subfloor preparation. Floating flooring requires a subfloor with a maximum deviation of 3 mm over a 2-metre straightedge. If the subfloor has greater deviations, it must be levelled with self-levelling mortar before starting. Without this levelling, the tongue-and-groove joints gradually separate, and visible gaps appear between boards after a few months of use. The second critical step is the moisture barrier. On ground floors or over damp screeds, a polyethylene sheet must be laid before the acoustic underlay. Without a barrier, moisture rises, swells the flooring from below, and after 6-12 months, undulations appear that can no longer be removed.
