How we work
Silicone is applied with a gun in a continuous, uninterrupted motion. Stopping and restarting creates visible irregularities. Immediately after application, it is smoothed with a silicone spatula or a finger dipped in soapy water to achieve the characteristic uniform concave finish. Masking tape is removed before the silicone starts to cure, within the first 5 minutes. First, all old silicone must be completely removed. New silicone cannot be applied over old; it will not adhere and will peel off within weeks. Removal is done with a special cutter, scraper, and in difficult cases, with a specific chemical softening product that dissolves old silicone without damaging the tiles. We have verified professionals available in less than 2 hours. Choose the service and ask us for a quote.
