How we work
Silicone application is done with a gun in a continuous, uninterrupted motion. Stopping and restarting creates visible irregularities. Immediately after application, it is smoothed with a silicone spatula or a finger dipped in soapy water to achieve the characteristic concave, uniform finish. Masking tape is removed within the first 5 minutes, before the silicone begins to cure. First, all old silicone must be completely removed. New silicone cannot be applied over old silicone; it won't adhere and will peel off within weeks. Removal is done with a special Stanley knife, scraper, and, in difficult cases, with a specific chemical softener that dissolves the old silicone without damaging the tiles. All our professionals reside in Vega Baja and undergo an identity, experience, and reference verification process before accepting assignments.
