How we work
Toughened glass is the standard for balcony doors, large windows, and areas at risk of impact. Its distinctive feature is that when it breaks, it shatters into thousands of small, blunt fragments that do not cause serious cuts, instead of large, sharp fragments like conventional glass. Spanish regulations (CTE) require toughened or laminated safety glass in all passageways and at heights below 90 cm. If your broken glass was simple conventional glass, we are obliged to replace it with toughened glass to comply with regulations. We start with a measurement visit. We measure the existing opening with millimetre precision, identify the type of glass to be replaced (toughened, laminated, Climalit), and verify the fixing system to the frame (silicone, PVC profile, neoprene gasket) so that the replacement is identical to the original. We provide a fixed quote during the same visit. In all passageways and at heights below 90cm: toughened or laminated safety glass. Spanish CTE. If the original was simple, it must be replaced with safety glass.
