How we work
The typical customer is a retired British or Irish individual, residing here for six months to the full year, with a medium budget. What they value most is barrier-free English, transparent work, and WhatsApp updates with photos. Recommendations are shared within the La Herrada community; a job well done often leads to five calls in the following weeks from neighbours needing similar services. We are aware of this and appreciate it. The second most frequent service is updating electrical consumer units. The original ones can no longer handle modern appliances like dishwashers, dryers, heat pump air conditioning, or electric car chargers for those who have made the leap. We offer a complete replacement with separate RCDs for different zones and a signed electrical installation certificate (boletín) within a single working day. Customers receive a modern, safe, and insurable installation. The most requested service is replacing electric water heaters at the end of their lifespan. Bungalows in La Herrada were built between the 90s and 2000s with 100 or 150-litre heaters that are now exhausted after twenty to twenty-five years of use with hard water. We replace them with new, quality brand models like Junkers, Cointra, Edesa, including a sacrificial anode to extend their service life. This is typically a half-day job per unit.
