It's a relatively autonomous area from the centre of Vila de Gràcia, with different and more recent urban development. It also differs in its social composition and even commercial aspect, with the promotion of its own commercial hub known as Gràcia Nova. These reasons, along with its connections to the upper part of Camp d’en Grassot (Can Romans), especially along the Pi i Margall and Secretari Coloma axes, are the basis for considering the whole of Camp d’en Grassot i Gràcia Nova as a neighbourhood.
