How we work
Call us, message us on WhatsApp, or request your quote online — we'll respond in less than 10 minutes during business hours. Changing from a standard switch to a dimmer switch first requires checking that the luminaire is compatible. Standard LED bulbs are often not dimmable. Only LEDs labelled 'dimmable' work well with a dimmer. Old halogens do dim without a problem but are barely used anymore due to consumption. To add a new socket where there was none, there are two approaches. The first is chasing. Cutting a channel in the wall from the nearest socket to the new point, running the cable inside, and closing the chase with plaster. Visually, it's the cleanest but involves minor construction work and repainting the wall. Timeline: 4-6 hours plus wall repair.
