How we work
We start with a measurement visit. We precisely measure the existing opening in millimetres, identify the type of glass to be replaced (tempered, laminated, Climalit), and verify the fixing system to the frame (silicone, PVC profile, neoprene gasket) so that the replacement is identical to the original. We provide a fixed quote during the same visit. In all passage areas and at heights below 90cm: tempered or laminated safety glass. Spanish CTE (Technical Building Code). If the original was single, safety glass must be installed. When glass breaks, the correct protocol has three steps. First, immediately remove all loose fragments to prevent accidents, which is especially important with children or pets at home. Second, provisionally cover the opening with thick plastic sheeting or a board if the area is accessible from the outside and there's a risk of intrusion. And third, call the glazier as soon as possible for measurement and replacement. The urgency depends on whether the area is watertight or not. A window facing an interior patio can wait 2-3 days without a problem. A balcony door or exterior window with a risk of rain ingress or theft needs urgent replacement.
