How we work
The most requested service is replacing electric water heaters coming to the end of their lifespan. The bungalows in La Herrada were built between the 90s and 2000s with 100 or 150-litre heaters that are now worn out after twenty or twenty-five years with hard water. We replace them with new models from quality brands like Junkers, Cointra, Edesa, with a sacrificial anode to extend their useful life. This takes half a day per unit. The second most common service is updating electrical consumer units. The original ones can no longer cope with modern appliances such as dishwashers, tumble dryers, heat pump air conditioning, or electric car chargers for owners who have made the switch. We do a complete replacement with separate RCDs per zone and issue a signed electrical installation certificate within a working day. The client receives a modern, safe, and insurable installation. The typical client is a retired British or Irish person, residing for six months or the whole year, with a medium budget. What they value most is communication in English without barriers, transparency in the work, and WhatsApp updates with photos. The La Herrada community often refers us, as a job well done translates into five calls in the following weeks from neighbours who also need something. We know this and appreciate it.
