How we work
The most requested service is the replacement of electric water heaters at the end of their useful life. The La Herrada bungalows were built between the 90s and 2000s with 100 or 150-litre water heaters that are now worn out after twenty or twenty-five years with hard water. We replace them with new models from quality brands like Junkers, Cointra, or Edesa, with a sacrificial anode to extend their lifespan. This is a half-day job per unit. The second most common service is the upgrading of electrical fuse boxes. The original ones can no longer handle modern appliances like dishwashers, dryers, heat pump air conditioning, or electric car chargers for those owners who have made the switch. We offer a complete replacement with separate RCDs for each zone and a certified electrical report signed off within a working day. The client receives a modern, safe, and insurable installation. Our typical client is a British or Irish retiree, residing here six months to the whole year, with a medium budget. What they value most is barrier-free English, work transparency, and WhatsApp updates with photos. Word gets around in the La Herrada community; a job well done often leads to five calls in the following weeks from neighbours who also need something. We are aware of this and appreciate it.
