How we work
The most requested service is replacing electric water heaters at the end of their lifespan. The bungalows in La Herrada were built between the 90s and 2000s with 100 or 150-litre heaters that are now worn out after twenty or twenty-five years with hard water. We replace them with a new, quality brand model (Junkers, Cointra, Edesa) with a sacrificial anode to extend its useful life. This takes half a day per unit. The second most common service is upgrading electrical boards. The original ones can no longer handle modern appliances like dishwashers, tumble dryers, heat pump air conditioning, or electric car chargers for owners who have made the switch. This involves a complete replacement with separate circuit breakers for each zone and a signed safety certificate, completed in one working day. The client receives a modern, safe, and insurable installation. The typical client is a British or Irish retiree, living here between six months and all year round, with a medium budget. What they value most is barrier-free English communication, transparency in our work, and WhatsApp updates with photos. Recommendations are shared within the La Herrada community; a job well done results in five calls from neighbours needing similar services in the following weeks. We know this and we value it.
