How we work
The next step is cleaning the coil, the part with thousands of thin fins through which the refrigerant gas circulates. We apply a specific descaling product for air conditioning systems, letting it sit for 15-20 minutes depending on the level of dirt. We rinse with moderately pressured water, protecting the rest of the unit with plastic to prevent water from entering where it shouldn't. The correct technique requires experience: too much pressure bends the fins and reduces performance, too little doesn't remove the dirt. The condensate tray and drain are cleaned separately with descaler as they often have accumulated limescale. If the drain is partially blocked, we clear it with a flexible hose. Finally, after drying all components, we apply a certified disinfectant product for air conditioning use that eliminates residual bacteria and fungi without leaving hazardous chemical residues. Yes, we use certified products for domestic air conditioning. Non-toxic, with no chemical residues in the air after rinsing and drying.
