How we work
The next step is cleaning the coil, the component with thousands of thin fins where the refrigerant gas circulates. We apply a specific descaling product for air conditioning, letting it act for 15-20 minutes depending on the level of dirt. We rinse it with moderate water pressure, protecting the rest of the unit with plastic to prevent water from entering where it shouldn't. The correct technique requires experience: too much pressure bends the fins and reduces efficiency, too little doesn't remove the dirt. We clean the condensate tray and drain separately with descaling product as they often accumulate limescale. If the drain is partially blocked, we clear it with a flexible hose. Finally, after drying all components, we apply a certified disinfectant product for air conditioning use that eliminates residual bacteria and fungi without leaving hazardous chemical residues. Yes, we use certified products for domestic air conditioning. They are non-toxic, with no chemical residues in the air after rinsing and drying.
