Our step-by-step enamelling process
- 1
Inspection and Preparation (30-60 min)
We assess the surface condition, identify potential damage (rust, cracks, loose old paint), and determine the most suitable enamel type. We remove hardware if necessary and protect surrounding areas with masking tape and sheeting. Thorough cleaning removes dust, grease, or dirt.
- 2
Surface Treatment (1-3 hours)
We lightly sand to create an adherent base, remove rust with wire brushes or converters, and apply primer or sealer according to the material (wood, metal, PVC) for a uniform and durable finish.
- 3
Enamel Application (2-6 hours per coat)
We apply the chosen enamel using a brush, roller, or spray gun, depending on the surface and desired finish. We apply at least two coats, respecting the drying times between them (as per manufacturer's instructions) for maximum coverage and resistance.
- 4
Finishing and Protection Removal (30-60 min)
Once the enamel is dry, we carefully remove protective coverings, reassemble hardware, and conduct a final inspection to ensure a perfect, blemish-free finish. We clean the work area.
