How we work
For a single, very specific task, not always. For several tasks or if there are doubts about the scope, yes: we make a quick visit and provide a fixed quote for everything. Matt emulsion paint is the standard option for ceilings and walls in rooms, living areas, and bedrooms. It provides a uniform finish without reflections, hides surface imperfections, and is easy to apply. For high-traffic areas (corridors, staircases, hallways) and children's rooms where walls get dirty more often, we recommend washable satin emulsion, which has a very slight sheen but allows you to clean stains with a damp cloth without damaging the paint. One of the most frequent calls we receive in autumn-winter is from owners who haven't painted their home in eight or ten years. They've realised that the walls are no longer white; they're an indefinable greyish-yellow. Mediterranean light is very unforgiving on walls. Cheap white paints yellow due to slow oxidation, especially in rooms with direct sun or near the kitchen where steam and airborne grease are present. Furniture marks, splashes from the passage of time, and small knocks on corners are cumulative.
