How we work
Call us, message us on WhatsApp, or request your quote online — we'll reply in under 10 minutes during business hours. Switching from a standard switch to a dimmer switch requires checking that the light fitting is compatible first. Standard LED bulbs are often not dimmable; only LEDs labelled 'dimmable' work well with a dimmer. Old halogen bulbs are easily dimmable but are rarely used now due to their energy consumption. To add a new socket where there wasn't one before, there are two approaches. The first is chasing. This involves cutting a channel into the wall from the nearest socket to the new point, feeding the cable through, and then plastering over the channel. It's the most visually neat but involves minor building work and repainting the wall. Timeline: 4-6 hours plus wall repair.
