How we work
A new electrical installation in a full renovation or new build isn't just about wiring the walls. It's a project that starts with a calculation of expected loads. How many appliances, what power ratings, special circuits like air conditioning or induction hobs. It then continues with sizing the fuse box and cables, followed by the physical wiring. It concludes with legalisation by the electricity distributor. La Herrada bungalows have repetitive installations, the same fuse box model, water heater, and air conditioning in many homes. This reduces diagnosis time and allows us to keep common parts in stock. The most requested service is the replacement of electric water heaters at the end of their lifespan. La Herrada bungalows were built between the 90s and 2000s with 100 or 150-litre water heaters that are now worn out after twenty or twenty-five years with hard water. We replace them with new, quality brand models like Junkers, Cointra, Edesa, with a sacrificial anode to extend their useful life. This takes half a day per unit.
