- ## Do any of these symptoms sound familiar?
- - ●Your hedge has lost its shape, is blocking the view, or is encroaching on the neighbour's property
- What's the best time to prune?
- It depends on the species. Hedges are trimmed in spring-summer and tidied in autumn; fruit trees are pruned during winter dormancy; bougainvillea is pruned after flowering. We advise you on the best time for each garden plant.
- Do you prune tall hedges and palm trees?
- We use safe lifting equipment and, when necessary, employ staff specialised in working at height for tall hedges, palm trees, and trees that cannot be reached from the ground.
- Do you take away branches and pruning waste?
- Yes, collection and disposal of all waste to an authorised facility are included. For large pruning jobs with multiple trailer loads, we will inform you of the disposal cost before we start.
- My palm trees have dry fronds, is it urgent?
- It's advisable for aesthetic and safety reasons to clean them, as dry fronds can fall. We also check for red palm weevil symptoms and will notify you if any are found, so the palm tree can be treated in time.
- Do you charge for hedge pruning by the metre?
- Yes, it's usually charged per linear metre of hedge, with waste removal included. For shrubs, trees, and palm trees, we provide a price per unit based on size and access. A quote is free.
