How we work
The float mechanism works perfectly. The water outlet never stops, it constantly keeps running, and we had to turn off the stopcock to avoid wasting water. It's an old close-coupled cistern; the flat is from the 60s. Two years ago, I replaced the flush valve with a new one (one of the blue and white plastic ones). Now it's leaking water into the toilet bowl, and the tank seems to never cut off the water. The stopcock is next to the tank. It's a mezzanine flat, the interior patio drain doesn't clear, and the downpipe is poorly constructed; we believe the entire installation needs to be changed. Every time it rains, we get flooded. This is a community project, and we need a quote for the community president.
