How we work
It's an old close-coupled cistern; the flat is from the 60s. Two years ago, I replaced the flush valve with a new one (one of the blue and white plastic ones). Now it's leaking water into the bowl, and the tank seems to never stop filling. The stopcock is next to the tank. It's a mezzanine floor, the drain in the inner patio doesn't drain, and the downpipe is poorly constructed; we believe the entire installation needs to be changed. Every time it rains, we get flooded. This is a community project; we need a quote for the community president. The float mechanism works perfectly. The water outlet never cuts off; it constantly keeps flowing, and we had to close the stopcock to avoid wasting water.
