The hotel looked great online, but the reality was different. The hotel is very old and run-down, the wellness centre smells damp, we didn't like the maintenance at all. They claim to have a gym, but it's no longer there; we asked an older woman at reception, who we believe was the manager or owner, and she told us it was under renovation, which was a lie; it has closed, the staff told us. The rooms are very old, the sinks are hideous; we don't understand how it can be a 4-star hotel when it should be a 2 at most. The corridor carpets are stained, wrinkled, and very old; the walls need a coat of paint, and the varnish is peeling. The car park is downstairs with no lift; you can go down up to 4 floors. Honestly, not recommended. For me, it was terrible. To mention something positive, the evening meal was good. My experience was quite mixed. I booked a triple room. They assigned us a double room with an extra bed that blocked the entrance hallway, and we could barely move. We had half board; the breakfast buffet was very good. Dinner was extremely slow; we sat down at 9 pm and didn't leave until 11 pm. If I book a triple room, I expect towels, glasses, and bathrobes for three people, but I had to ask for them on four occasions.
