The interior was where we had to intervene the most. The parquet flooring and mosaics in the apartments had to be restored by specialists licensed in Fine Arts. Likewise, the bathrooms were completely renovated, including the decorative mosaics which showed various damage from the passage of time. During this period, work focused mainly on the facade, the rear patio, and the interior floors, in both common areas and offices. In 2005, Núñez i Navarro bought the building from Grupo Planeta and began a restoration project that lasted two years. A company team developed the renovation and conservation plan, based on a careful artistic study of the building, an internal structural analysis, and a chromatic examination of the facade.

The building's mezzanine was the main area occupied by the Lleó i Morera family. To adapt the space for new uses, Núñez i Navarro carried out an exhaustive study of the tasks to be done and the lighting, sound, decoration, and security needs, in line with the property's specific characteristics. Regarding the electrical installation, the current wiring is visible, connected to the original electrical grid mechanisms. The rear facade stands out for its beauty and great ornamental value, a circumstance that influenced the rehabilitation work. It was recovered floor by floor, paying special attention to preserving the stained glass windows; all of them of exceptional artistic quality. Regarding the rehabilitation and improvement of the rear patio, once the sgraffito on the rainwater cistern wall was recovered, depicting a mulberry tree symbolising the family name, the floor was recovered and the small house that formerly housed the laundry room was restored and now serves as a storage area. The common services and spaces – the staircase, the ground floor, and the entrance halls on each floor of the building – were in good condition. Restoration work was limited to repairing deteriorated mosaics, mainly in the floor access areas.
