How we work
The work replaces the intervention by Muscovite artist Stepan Krasnov, which was carried out in 2014 during the _Open Walls_ festival. Now, more than a decade later, this emblematic neighbourhood space is being revitalised with an artistic proposal that centres on the voices and perspectives of the young participants. The courtyard of Masia de la Guineueta boasts a new look thanks to a collective mural created by young people from the Casal de Joves de la Guineueta in collaboration with Basque urban artists Sortwo and Mikel Remak. This artistic action was promoted by B-Murals as part of a participatory process that has combined creative expression, community work, and critical reflection on the territory. It received support from the Nou Barris District. Finally, the vertical character aims to represent the freedom of new ways to define gender. With a hypnotic beauty where abstract elements contribute a play of feminine, masculine, and _queer_ details.
