How we work
First, the old silicone must be completely removed. New silicone cannot be applied over old silicone as it will not adhere and will peel off within weeks. Removal is done with a special cutter, scraper, and, in difficult cases, with a specific chemical softener that dissolves old silicone without damaging the tiles. Silicone is applied with a gun in a continuous, uninterrupted motion. Stopping and restarting creates visible irregularities. Immediately after application, it is smoothed with a silicone spatula or a finger dipped in soapy water to achieve the characteristic uniform concave finish. The masking tape is removed within the first 5 minutes, before the silicone begins to cure. All our professionals reside in Vega Baja and undergo a rigorous verification process covering identity, experience, and references before accepting assignments.
