How we work
First, the old silicone must be completely removed. New silicone cannot be applied over old; it won't adhere and will peel off in weeks. Removal is done with a special cutter, scraper, and in difficult cases, with a specific softening chemical product that dissolves old silicone without damaging tiles. Silicone application is done with a gun in a continuous, uninterrupted motion. Stopping and restarting creates visible irregularities. Immediately after applying, it is smoothed with a silicone spatula or a finger dipped in soapy water to achieve the characteristic uniform concave finish. Masking tape is removed before the silicone begins to cure, within the first 5 minutes. All our professionals reside in Vega Baja and undergo an identity, experience, and reference verification process before accepting assignments.
