For light loads up to 5 kilograms, a tilting nail is sufficient. For medium loads, there are metal plasterboard plugs like Molly type that expand behind the board. For heavy loads like a large TV, the supporting metal framework behind the plasterboard needs to be located with a detector and screwed into the frame. Perforated brick is the most common material for interior partitions and non-load-bearing walls. It is reasonably easy to drill, but the problem is that the plug can fall into the inner cavity of the brick if it enters between two walls.
