- ## Do any of these symptoms sound familiar?
- - ●The hedge has lost its shape, blocks the view, or encroaches on the neighbour's property
- What is the best time to prune?
- It depends on the species. Hedges are trimmed in spring-summer and tidied up in autumn; fruit trees are pruned during their winter dormancy; bougainvillea is pruned after flowering. We can advise you on the best time for each garden plant.
- Do you prune tall hedges and palm trees?
- We use safe lifting equipment and, when necessary, employ staff specialised in working at height for tall hedges, palm trees, and trees that cannot be reached from the ground.
- Do you take away the branches and pruning waste?
- Yes, collection and disposal of all waste to an authorised facility are included. For large pruning jobs involving multiple trailer loads, we will inform you of the disposal cost before starting.
- My palm trees have dry fronds, is it urgent?
- For aesthetic and safety reasons, it's advisable to clean them, as dry fronds can fall. We also check for signs of red palm weevil and will notify you if any are found, so the palm can be treated in time.
- Do you charge for hedge pruning by the metre?
- Yes, it's usually priced per linear metre of hedge, with waste removal included. For shrubs, trees, and palm trees, we give a price per unit based on size and access. The quote is free.
