How we work
It's a mezzanine floor, the internal patio drain is blocked, and the downpipe is poorly constructed. We believe the entire installation needs replacing. Every time it rains, the place floods. This is a communal building, so we need a quote for the community president. It's an old cistern; the flat dates back to the 1960s. Two years ago, I replaced the flush valve with a new one (the blue and white plastic type). Now it's leaking water into the bowl, and the tank seems to never stop filling. The stopcock is next to the tank. The float mechanism works perfectly. The water outlet never stops; it keeps running, and we had to close the stopcock to avoid wasting water.
