How we work
The typical client is a retired British or Irish person, residing for six months to the full year, with a mid-range budget. What they value most is clear communication in English, transparency of the work, and WhatsApp updates with photos. Recommendations are shared within the La Herrada community; a job well done results in five calls in the following weeks from neighbours who also need something. We know this and appreciate it. The second most common service is the updating of electrical fuse boxes. The originals can no longer cope with modern appliances like dishwashers, tumble dryers, heat pump air conditioning, or electric car chargers for owners who have made the switch. We carry out a complete replacement with RCDs isolated by zone and a certified electrical report signed by the end of the working day. The client receives a modern, safe, and insurable installation. The most requested service is the replacement of electric water heaters at the end of their lifespan. The bungalows in La Herrada were built between the 90s and 2000s with 100 or 150-litre water heaters that are now exhausted after twenty or twenty-five years in hard water conditions. We replace them with a new model from a quality brand like Junkers, Cointra, or Edesa, including a sacrificial anode to extend the lifespan. This operation takes half a day per unit.
