How we work
Call us, message us on WhatsApp, or request your quote online — we will respond in under 10 minutes during working hours. Changing a standard switch to a dimmer switch requires first checking that the luminaire is compatible. Standard LED bulbs are often not dimmable. Only 'dimmable' labeled LEDs work well with a dimmer. Old halogen lights dim without issue but are rarely used now due to consumption. To add a new socket where there was none, there are two approaches. The first is chasing. Cutting a channel in the wall from the nearest existing socket to the new point, running the cable inside, and closing the chase with plaster. This is the cleanest visually but involves minor construction and repainting the wall. Timeframe: 4-6 hours plus wall repair.
