How we work
Call us, message us on WhatsApp, or request your quote online – we respond in under 10 minutes during business hours. To add a new socket where there wasn't one, there are two approaches. The first is chasing. This involves cutting a channel in the wall from the nearest socket to the new point, running the cable through it, and then repairing the channel with plaster. It's the most visually tidy but requires minor building work and repainting the wall. Timeframe: 4-6 hours plus wall repair. Changing a standard switch to a dimmer switch requires first checking that the light fixture is compatible. Standard LED bulbs are often not dimmable. Only LEDs labelled 'dimmable' work well with a dimmer. Older halogen bulbs can be dimmed without issues but are rarely used now due to their energy consumption.
