How we work
The most requested service is the replacement of electric water heaters at the end of their lifespan. The bungalows in La Herrada were built between the 90s and 2000s with 100 or 150-litre heaters which are now worn out after twenty or twenty-five years of hard water. We replace them with new models from quality brands like Junkers, Cointra, or Edesa, with a sacrificial anode to extend their lifespan. This operation takes half a day per unit. The typical client is a retired British or Irish person, residing here for six months to the whole year, with a medium budget. They value clear communication in English, transparency in the work, and WhatsApp updates with photos the most. The La Herrada community shares recommendations; a job well done translates into five calls in the following weeks from neighbours who also need something. We are aware of this and appreciate it. The second most common service is the upgrade of electrical fuse boxes. The originals can no longer handle modern appliances like dishwashers, dryers, heat pump air conditioning, or electric car chargers for those who have made the switch. We perform a complete replacement with separate RCDs for each zone and a signed certificate within one working day. The client receives a modern, safe, and insurable installation.
