How we work
It's an old close-coupled cistern; the flat is from the 60s. Two years ago, I replaced the flush mechanism with a new one (the blue and white plastic ones). Now it leaks water into the bowl, and the tank never seems to stop filling. The stopcock is next to the tank. The float mechanism works perfectly. The water outlet never stops, it keeps coming out constantly, and we had to close the stopcock to avoid wasting water. In any case, I have bought a replacement rubber ball part (rubber/plastic ball plus rod and nuts) but given the difficult access, I would like it to be installed by a professional familiar with this type of work. That's why I would like to request a quote.
