How we work
We start with a measurement visit. We precisely measure the existing opening to the millimetre, identify the type of glass to be replaced (tempered, laminated, Climalit), and verify the fixing system to the frame (silicone, PVC profile, neoprene gasket) to ensure the replacement is identical to the original. We provide a fixed quote during the same visit. In all passageways and heights below 90cm: tempered or laminated safety glass is required by Spanish CTE. If the original was single pane, it must be upgraded to safety glass. Tempered glass is the standard for balcony doors, large windows, and areas at risk of impact. Its distinctive characteristic is that when it breaks, it shatters into thousands of small, blunt fragments that do not cause severe cuts, unlike large, sharp fragments from conventional glass. Spanish regulations (CTE) require tempered or laminated safety glass in all passageways and at heights below 90 cm. If your broken glass was conventional single pane, we will compulsorily replace it with tempered glass to comply with regulations.
