How we work
One of the most frequent calls we receive in autumn-winter are from homeowners who haven't painted their house in eight or ten years. They've realised the walls are no longer white, but a difficult-to-define yellowish-grey. Mediterranean light is very unforgiving with walls. Inexpensive whites yellow due to slow oxidation, especially in rooms with direct sun or near the kitchen where steam and suspended oil reach. Furniture marks, splashes from the passage of time, and small bumps on corners are cumulative. Matte plastic paint is the standard option for ceilings and walls in rooms, living rooms, and bedrooms. It provides a uniform finish without glare, hides surface imperfections, and is easy to apply. For high-traffic areas (hallways, stairs, lobbies) and children's rooms where walls get dirtier, we recommend washable satin plastic paint, which has a very slight sheen but allows stains to be cleaned with a damp cloth without damaging the paint.
