How we work
The typical client is a retired British or Irish person, residing for six months to a full year, with an average budget. What they value most is barrier-free English, transparency in the work, and WhatsApp updates with photos. The La Herrada community shares recommendations; a job well done leads to five calls in the following weeks from neighbours who also need something. We know this and we value it. La Herrada bungalows have repetitive installations, the same fuse box model, water heater, and air conditioning in many homes. This reduces diagnosis time and allows us to carry common parts in stock. The most requested service is the replacement of electric water heaters at the end of their service life. La Herrada bungalows were built between the 90s and 2000s with 100 or 150-litre water heaters that are now depleted after twenty or twenty-five years with hard water. We replace them with new models from quality brands like Junkers, Cointra, Edesa, with a sacrificial anode to extend their lifespan. This is a half-day job per unit.
