How we work
A complete air source heat pump installation is a serious project. It starts with calculating the thermal loads of the home, sizing the unit according to actual needs, choosing between radiators only, underfloor heating only, or a combination, planning space for the Domestic Hot Water (DHW) tank and the outdoor unit, and a fixed price quotation. The air-to-water heat pump, also called aerotermia, goes a step further. The outdoor unit heats or cools water that circulates through radiators, underfloor heating, or fan coils to air-condition the home, and simultaneously heats a domestic hot water tank of approximately 200 litres for shower and tap use. It handles everything with a single unit, ideal for chalets and large homes. Its payback compared to a traditional gas + air system is 8 to 12 years in the local climate.
