It begins with calculating the thermal loads of the home, sizing the equipment according to actual needs, choosing between radiators only, underfloor heating only, or a combination, planning space for the domestic hot water tank and the outdoor unit, and providing a fixed price. The air-to-water heat pump, also called aerothermal, goes a step further. The outdoor unit heats or cools water that circulates through radiators, underfloor heating, or fan coils to condition the home, and simultaneously heats a domestic hot water tank of approximately 200 litres for showers and taps. It resolves everything with a single unit, ideal for detached houses and large homes. Its payback period compared to a traditional gas + air system is 8 to 12 years in the local climate.
